On May 17th 2011, ING will host the ING Media Day. Central to this event will be “Changing consumption patterns, turning challenges to your advantage.” The programme features discussions by prominent speakers from ‘new’ media companies, ‘traditional’ media companies, specialist consultants, advertisers, and trend watchers. The purpose of this half-day conference is to create a platform for Media companies to discuss current and future business challenges of changing consumption patterns in the media sector.
The conference is aimed at senior corporate executives, CEO, CFOs and Head of strategy/ M&A to provide a space where innovative views and respective best practices are shared on how to tackle threatening developments in the market and transform these into strengths. There will also be plenty of opportunities for people, from corporate to PE houses, to develop a dialogue and get to know each other’s businesses and challenges.
Mr. Theo Huibers presents illustrative disruptive innovations, how they affect different media markets, and how organizations in these markets could successfully embrace these disruptions in order to have or remain commercially successful. Mr. Koen Voermans will illustrate the topic with an intriguing out-of-the-box example from an unexpected area.
